AWS A5.13 ENiCrFe-1 Nickel alloys Manual electrode Welding accessories
Application & Standard
This COBALT-BASED SURFACING ELECTRODE CAN BE USED FOR LINING SLEEVE OF SHAFT SLEEVE, CUTTING EDGE OF CHEMICAL FIBER EQUIPMENT, SAWTOOTH, SCREW PUSH ROD, HIGH temperature and HIGH pressure VALVE AND HIGH pressure pump ETC. The surface roughness of the workpiece should be less than Ra12.5μm, and the surface rust, oil and other dirt should be strictly removed. The matrix should not have cracks, pores, sand and other defects, and the edges and corners should be rounded. Before surfacing, different temperatures should be selected according to the substrate material for preheating. When the matrix material is pearlitic heat-resistant steel or martensitic stainless steel and other materials with poor welding performance, the austenitic stainless steel surfacing layer should be welded on the matrix surface, and then the cobalt-based alloy should be surfacing after smooth processing to improve the crack resistance and avoid cracks. Either AC or DC arc welding power supply can be used for D802 and D812 electrodes. Dc arc welding power supply is recommended.
Features
GEH-SL12 titanium calcium coated cobalt-base surfacing electrode. Cobalt-cr-tungsten alloy is used as the core wire. Dc reverse connection is recommended. Surfacing metal can maintain good wear resistance and corrosion resistance at 650℃. Before welding, it must be baked at 300-350℃ for 1 hour; The hardening layer on the base metal surface should be removed to avoid cracks and brittleness. According to the size of the base metal workpiece and the type of base metal, it must be preheated at 300-600℃, and small current short arc welding is appropriate.
