Application&Standard&Note:
AWS E8015-B2 is suitable for welding boiler heating surface tube and power station water wall working temperature below 550℃. Steam pipe, high pressure vessel, such as 15CrMo tube plate, A335-P11 tube, A387Gr.11 plate; And can also be used in hydrogenation reactor, heat exchanger and other high pressure vessels and boiler pipeline welding, can also be used to weld 30CrMnSi cast steel.
The groove is usually processed by flame or plasma cutting process. When necessary, the cutting should also be preheated, and the PT test should be done after grinding to remove cracks on the groove. V-shaped groove is usually selected, and the groove Angle is 60°. From the perspective of preventing cracks, a larger groove Angle is beneficial, but it increases the amount of welding. At the same time, the groove and both sides of the inside are polished clean, and the dirt such as oil, rust and moisture are removed (dehydrogenation and porosity prevention).
Features
AWS E8015-B2 heat resistant steel hand electrode is a low hydrogen type electrode, using DC reverse connection, short arc operation, can carry out full position welding. Preheat the weldment to 160℃~250℃ before welding, and temper the weldment after welding. The molten metal has very low S and P impurity content. Low temperature impact toughness is more excellent. Welding 1%Cr-0.5%Mo heat resistant steel operating temperature below 520℃, such as boiler pipes, high pressure vessels, petroleum refining equipment, etc. In addition, the electrode also has excellent crack resistance, excellent DC reverse and short arc welding operation, good process performance and so on.
