If used with D577 electrode, it can obtain good abrasion resistance. And the surfacing process is simple, no preheating before welding, no heat treatment after welding, using DC reverse connection.

GEH-507Mo is a low sodium hydrogen type high chromium steel hardfacing strip, good operation, less splash, easy slag removal, beautiful shape, easy to carry out mechanical processing; The surfacing layer has the characteristics of air quenching, high medium-temperature hardness, good thermal stability and corrosion resistance. This type of hand electrode needs to pay attention to several matters before welding, so as not to cause unnecessary mistakes to the welding work. The first point: it must be dried at 300-350℃ for 1 hour before welding. Second point: the base material surface moisture, rust stains, oil to be fully removed. The third point: pay attention to the way of arc and arc, arc after the arc back burning, remelting arc point, arc to fill the arc pit.
